Fincons Group is seeking a skilled Test Engineer to support enterprise testing efforts in a Swiss-based role. The position combines hands-on manual testing with test management and stakeholder coordination, focusing on Micro Focus Quality Center/ALM.

The ideal candidate will coordinate testing across the SDLC, develop test plans and scripts, ensure traceability, and deliver dashboards and quality metrics for stakeholders.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance with Micro Focus QC/ALM.
• Proven experience in manual testing of enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of Banking processes and environments.
• Excellent command of Italian and English (written and spoken).

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Test Engineer with strong experience in Micro Focus Quality Center / ALM to support and coordinate software testing activities across complex enterprise environments.

The ideal candidate combines strong manual testing expertise with excellent test management and stakeholder coordination capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate testing activities across the software development lifecycle using Micro Focus QC
• Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, test suites, and test scenarios based on functional and business requirements
• Ensure complete traceability between requirements, test cases, test execution, and defects
• Execute manual functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing activities
• Prepare and maintain test execution reports, dashboards, and quality metrics for stakeholders

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance with strong hands-on experience with Micro Focus Quality Center/ALM
• Proven experience in manual testing of enterprise applications
• Solid understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Working knowledge of JIRA for issue tracking, project coordination, and Agile delivery support
• Knowledge of Banking processes and applications, with previous experience working in Banking or Financial Services environments
• Excellent command of Italian and English (written and spoken)
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Location Requirement

• Please note that a fully remote work policy is not offered for this role
• Candidates should be prepared to relocate to Canton Ticino/Switzerland ortowns near the Swiss-Italian border
• Work-from-home days may be possible according to the Client's policy
