Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technical Supervisor for our Fairmont Montreux site to oversee AV and media technology for high-quality events. You will plan, supervise and execute technical aspects, coordinate quotations, materials and logistics, and work with regional management to hit turnover targets.

The role requires several years in events, strong customer service, fluent English and French, and a sales-oriented mindset. Flexible working and international career opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Trained as an events technician or events manager or a degree in the events sector.
• Several years' professional experience in the events industry focusing on AV/media technology.
• Sales-oriented mindset and strong customer service ethos.

Responsibilities

• Direct point of contact for all AV and media technology matters.
• Plan, supervise and execute high-quality events.
• Prepare quotations and manage service providers; plan materials and logistics.
• Plan and achieve turnover targets for your division.
• Staff scheduling in consultation with regional management.
• Collaborate with regional management and sales managers.
• Ensure quality standards are met.

Your Responsibilities

• Direct point of contact for all AV and media technology matters
• Responsible for the technical planning, supervision and execution of high-quality events
• Preparing quotations and managing service providers, as well as planning materials and logistics
• Planning and achieving turnover targets for your division
• Staff scheduling in consultation with regional management
• Working closely with regional management and sales managers
• Ensuring quality standards are met

Your Experience

• Trained as an events technician, events manager or a degree in the events sector

• Sales-oriented mindset
• Strong customer service ethos and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Some experience in team leadership
• Flexibility regarding working hours
