Zusammenfassung

Hitachi Energy in Ticino is seeking a Project Manager to strengthen our Transformers team. You will lead medium-size LV/MV transformer and reactor projects, manage schedules, resources, costs, and vendor deliverables, and ensure compliance with Hitachi Energy standards.

The position requires an electrical or mechanical engineering background, 2–3 years of project management experience in transformers and reactors, and excellent collaboration with diverse stakeholders.

• Ensuring adherence to internal and external quality standards (e.g., ISO).
• Manage After-Sales projects by ensuring the fulfillment of customer needs.
• Identifying/resolving obstacles to completing project on time and to budget.
• May include work managing multiple, interrelated projects (including business transformation projects).
• On some projects, the work may include integrating vendor tasks into the project plan and tracking and reviewing vendor deliverables.

The opportunity

We are looking for a Project Manager to strengthen our Team in our Business Unit Transformers, Ticino.

In this role you are leading the execution of medium-size projects mainly related to LV & MV Transformers and Reactors and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with Hitachi Energy policy, quality standards, health & safety and environment requirements.

• Developing project schedules, and determining resource requirements

Your background

• Electrical Engineering or mechanical Engineering Background

• 2-3 years proven experience in Project Management with focus on Transformers and Reactors

• Collaboration with diverse number of stakeholders

• Very good knowledge of English and Italian; any other languages are a plus

• Strong communicator, self-driven and open-minded

• Structured and organized person with the ability to work under time pressure

• Team-player able to build and motivate a project team
