Zusammenfassung

Hitachi Energy is seeking an electrical design engineer based in Zurich-Oerlikon to support generator circuit-breaker projects worldwide. You will craft wiring schematics, develop wiring diagrams with EPLAN P8, and revise electrical docs to meet client specs while coordinating with global partners.

Fluent in Mandarin and English, with German a plus, you’ll travel up to 20% to customer sites and power plants.

Qualifikationen

• Completed apprenticeship, technical diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in electrical design, engineering, or a comparable technical role.
• Experience with EPLAN P8 or similar ECAD software is an advantage.

Join Hitachi Energy’s High Voltage Products business and become part of a globally recognized team delivering advanced solutions for power transmission and distribution. In this role, you will support the development and execution of customer-specific projects for Generator Circuit-Breakers used in power generation applications worldwide. Based in Zurich-Oerlikon, you will combine your electrical engineering expertise with your Mandarin Chinese language skills to support customers and business partners in China and contribute to the global energy transition.

Your background

• Completed apprenticeship, technical diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in electrical design, engineering, or a comparable technical role
• Experience with EPLAN P8 or similar ECAD software is an advantage
• Fluent in Mandarin and English; German language skills are an advantage
