We are looking for an IT Project Lead Infrastructure for one of our clients in the banking and financial services industry based in Zurich, Switzerland, for a 12-month contract role.
This is a 100% workload assignment starting on 01.09.2026 and running until 31.08.2027.
In this role, you will lead a strategic transformation of the organisation's web application security landscape.
You will be responsible for evaluating and implementing a modern cloud-based Web Application and API Protection (WAAP) solution, replacing the existing on-premises WAF infrastructure that currently protects around 60 applications.
At the same time, you will oversee a Proof of Concept focused on migrating the existing WAF platform to a Kubernetes-based deployment model.
Working closely with security, infrastructure, application teams, and external vendors, you will drive decision-making, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure successful project delivery.
If you have proven experience leading complex infrastructure, cloud, or cyber security projects in enterprise environments, combined with strong project management skills and knowledge of WAF, API security, cloud security solutions, and Kubernetes technologies, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Experience with vendor management, stakeholder engagement, and technology evaluations will be highly valued.
