Job summary

Unit8 in Lausanne seeks a Technical Engagement Lead to take ownership of complex Data & AI engagements, guiding them from client problem to technical outcome. You will work at the intersection of client leadership, architecture and hands-on engineering, translating goals into a delivery plan and steering the team through implementation.

This role offers growth into broader delivery and client leadership while staying hands-on with technology, coordinating multiple streams and senior engineers,

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of hands-on technical delivery experience.
• Strong engineering background with production systems.
• Deep expertise in GenAI or AI Engineering, Data Engineering, Cloud & Data Platforms or ML.
• Ability to decompose problems and design executable delivery plans.
• Experience leading engineers or teams and delivering outcomes.
• Excellent communication with clients and senior stakeholders; may contribute to proposals.
• Consulting or client-facing services experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the engagement end-to-end and client relationship.
• Turn client problems into clear delivery plans and roadmaps.
• Own the technical solution and ensure high engineering quality.
• Lead and develop a high-performing delivery team.
• Identify opportunities within accounts and support pre-sales.
