Avaloq in Switzerland is building a brand-new team to define the future Mobile Banking experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineers to design and develop features for next-generation apps, supporting customers globally and delivering high-quality mobile solutions.

The role operates in an agile environment, partnering with product, UX and backend teams, and offers engagement across a broad international client base with opportunities to influence architecture and API

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the financial industry as a BA or software engineer.
• Good programming skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual abilities.
• Excellent client orientation and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive and structured working method.

• Translate business requirements into technical specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Serve as bridge between business, UX, and engineering teams for delivery.
• Contribute to mobile features by reviewing Kotlin Multiplatform code.
• Define scalable, secure mobile banking solutions with API integrations.
• Lead client workshops to gather requirements and drive design decisions.
• Support the full SDLC from design to release management.

Job Description

You will be working in a brand-new team that is defining the future Mobile Banking experience for our customers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams of talented engineers to define, design, and develop new features for next-generation applications. The role focuses on supporting customers globally. You will work closely with our product team to deliver high-quality apps.

This role offers the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of exciting and challenging projects, contributing to cutting-edge global banking initiatives. The team works in an agile environment, closely collaborating with customers and partners to support a broad international client base, and to deliver innovative solutions that meet evolving market demands.

Your key tasks

• Analyze and translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams


• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, UX designers, and engineering teams to ensure seamless solution delivery


• Contribute hands-on to the implementation of mobile features by developing and reviewing code in Kotlin Multiplatform


• Collaborate with architects and developers to define scalable and secure mobile banking solutions, including API integrations and backend interactions


• Lead and facilitate client workshops and discovery sessions to gather requirements, align on solution design, and drive decision-making across business and technical stakeholders


• Support the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and release management

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics or equivalent


• Min. 5 years of experience with business analysis or software engineering in the financial industry


• Good programming skills


• Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills


• Excellent client-orientation and strong communication skills


• Self-motivated, proactive and structured working method with a passion for learning
