Job summary

Lanterns Studios is seeking a Project Manager to lead a team of production professionals in delivering high-quality games. You will facilitate processes, methods, and tools to deliver the game project following the best practices established by the organization.

As the front-line manager, you will own schedules, coordinate sub-teams across content/art, tech, and design, and drive improvements in production pipelines.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Management, Human Resources or relevant field.
• Minimum of 2 years in a management position.
• Strong Project Management Skills with Agile experience.
• Experience with project tracking tools.
• Understanding of game development processes is a plus.
• Excellent English and French communication, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the project scope within budget and time.
• Manage multiple sub teams, working with content/art, tech, and design.
• Share the vision of the project and engage team members.
• Own the schedules and tracking, production pipelines and content delivery, iterating on process to find the most effective methods.
• Develop resource plans and anticipate needs.
• Ensure milestones are released on schedule.
• Organize and optimize the team workflow to ensure a simpler and clearer coordination.
• Carry out the follow ups with the team.
• Additional tasks may be assigned accordingly

Requirements

• Capacity to analyze risk and create contingency plans;
• Understanding of game development processes - production, design, code, art is a plus.

• Autonomous and proactive attitude;
