Overview In this role you lead a maintenance team to secure high availability and reliability of production equipment in machining and vulcanizing. You coordinate planned maintenance, drive continuous improvement, and develop your team while upholding safety and quality standards. You work closely with Production to optimize processes and respond to equipment issues with sustainable solutions. This position offers hands‑on leadership in a global, values‑driven company focused on innovation and reliability.

Verantwortungsbereiche

• Plan and coordinate maintenance, repair, and optimization activities with Production
• Ensure high equipment availability and implement preventive maintenance
• Analyze failures and implement corrective/improvement measures
• Provide technical and people leadership and develop the maintenance team
• Plan resources, vacations, and assignments; manage KPIs
• Contribute to budget planning and ensure cost‑effective use of resources
• Lead sub-projects in improvement and investment projects (e.g., TPM, Lean Maintenance)
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
• Participate in on‑call duty rotation (3-4 assignments per year)

Zentrale Anforderungen

• Completed technical vocational training in Polymechanic, Automation Technician, Mechatronics Technician, or comparable qualification
• Very good German and good English (min B1)
• Further education in maintenance (e.g., FA, HF) or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in industrial maintenance of production equipment or automated systems
• At least 2 years of leadership experience in a technical environment
• Strong troubleshooting and preventive maintenance knowledge
• Customer and service orientation toward internal stakeholders
• Structured, solution-oriented, hands‑on mindset; ability to set priorities under pressure
• High integrity, reliability, and flexibility; willingness to take responsibility
• PLC knowledge (Siemens S7/TIA Portal or Beckhoff) is an advantage
