Big Science Sweden is seeking a dedicated Production Engineer in Genf, Switzerland to play a critical role in the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of beam-intercepting devices essential to our accelerator complex.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team to develop, assemble, install, and maintain precision mechanical systems in challenging environments, covering three target stations and two collimators that protect the magnets.

Qualifikationen

• Maximum of 2 years of professional experience since graduation in the respective field.
• No PhD allowed; university degree required.

In this role you will play a critical role in the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of beam-intercepting devices essential to our accelerator complex. As a dedicated and skilled production engineer, you will work within a multidisciplinary team to develop, assemble, install, and maintain these precision mechanical systems in challenging environments. Your responsibilities will cover three target stations and two collimators that protect the magnets, along with their associated operational spare parts.

• By the application deadline, you have a maximum of 2 years of professional experience since graduation in the respective field and your highest educational qualification is either a bachelor’s or master’s degree. You must have a university degree and can’t hold a PhD.
• You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
