Job summary

You will be part of Proton Therapy Imaging (PTI), an international team located in Switzerland, Hungary and Germany. We are developing product solutions for our customers to ensure state-of-the imaging. This product is seamlessly integrated into the clinical workflow of our treatment platforms - ProBeam and ProBeam360° - to fulfill customer needs. Your engineering skills will allow you to contribute in various activities of the development process with the main focus on testing of our new products and with a dedicated responsibility for our test laboratory.

Specific Responsibilities

• Ensure that product verification is successful and the requirements are fulfilled with objective test evidence
• Define verification strategy
• Develop, modify, and execute design verification plans to meet product and system requirements
• Define, design, and maintain verification test cases
• Execute test cases and record objective evidence
• Ensure traceability between requirements and verification tests
• Document test results and write verification reports
• Lead the local test laboratory and the local office test system with strong ownership ensuring seamless operation
• Work closely together with system engineering, software development (C# / C++) and project management
• Perform informal engineering testing during development phase to give feedback to the engineers
• Evaluate and review imaging workflow and features to define potential new developments
• Combine verification tasks with additional responsibilities (10-20%) in system engineering (HW/SW) or SW development
• Ensure state-of-the-art test environment including AI-based test automation

Desired Qualifications

• Electrical/Mechanical engineer, physicist, biomedical engineer or equivalent (Bachelor/Master degree)
• 3-5 years verification experiences in medical device business
• Engaged and self-organized working style
• Good communication and social skills
• Fluency in English language, written and verbal; German would be a plus
• Travel activities (10%)
