Myjob in Buchs (CH) seeks a System Function Owner for the System-Life-Cycle to drive interfaces, state machines, and protection mechanisms. You will serve as the main technical liaison with customers on requirements, scope, and feature planning.

Requirements include a Master in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years in automotive system engineering, ASPICE and ISO 26262 experience, and strong knowledge of CAN, Ethernet and WLAN. English fluency is essential; German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in system engineering, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Professional experience with system engineering methodologies and lifecycle (V-model).
• Strong knowledge of automotive and wireless communication technologies, including CAN, Ethernet, and WLAN.
• Experience with Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and automotive development processes.
• Ability to understand complex technical systems and translate requirements into effective system solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to interact with customers, suppliers, and internal interfaces.
• Self-driven, proactive, and highly motivated personality with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English; German is considered an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Define and maintain vehicle communication interfaces, system state machines, and protection mechanisms.
• Act as the primary technical interface to customers for discussions on system requirements and feature planning.
• Create, review and manage system requirements with full traceability from customer requirements to implementation and validation (ASPICE).
• Trace analysis: pre-analysis of tickets, overnight charging traces, PV trace analysis and failed test cases.
• Support operation/commissioning of the function at the bench and on the vehicle.

• Define and maintain vehicle communication interfaces, system state machines and protection mechanisms
• Act as the primary technical interface to customers for technical discussions related to system requirements, function scope and feature planning
• Create, review and manage system requirements, ensuring full traceability from customer requirements to implementation and validation according to ASPICE
• Trace analysis: pre-analysis of tickets created by the customer, overnight charging traces, PV trace analysis and SYS.4/SYS.5 failed test cases analysis
• Supporting operation/commissioning of the function at the bench and on the vehicle
