Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Supply Chain Senior Launch Lead to join our team in Zuchwil, Switzerland. This role will own end-to-end supply chain activities for New Product Introductions and Life Cycle Management, coordinating across Marketing, R&D, Quality and Manufacturing to ensure successful launches.

The position requires leadership of cross-functional teams, rigorous project management, and the ability to deliver on ambitious timelines in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, or PM.
  • Proven experience in NPD/NPI project management.
  • Experience in regulated medical device, pharma, or related industries preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

  • Lead End-to-End supply chain for NPI and LCM projects.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain to plan projects.
  • Develop and execute project charters from start to manufacturing hand-off.
  • Align resources and prioritize across functions for business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with NPD/LCM processes and procedures.
  • Provide innovative solutions to accelerate project execution.
  • Build and communicate with cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Escalate business risks and opportunities to senior management.
  • Create launch readiness plans with Planning for global launches.
  • Support make-vs-buy decisions and site selection efforts.

Position Overview

The Supply Chain Senior Launch Lead is responsible for executing the end-to-end supply chain strategy for New Product Introduction (NPI) and Life Cycle Management (LCM) projects. This highly visible role aligns cross-functional teams, manages project risks and dependencies, and drives execution. We are seeking an innovative, results-driven project leader who can challenge conventional approaches, simplify processes, and introduce new ways of working to accelerate decision-making and project execution.

Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Serves as the End to End supply chain lead for NPI and LCM projects, driving project plans, deliverables, and execution.
  • Collaborates across Marketing, R&D, Quality and Supply Chain teams to develop project plans and participate in established governance to effectively align resources and prioritization.
  • Responsible for development and execution of project plans from project charter through the hand-off to the manufacturing and/or supplier site all the way to global launch.
  • Partners with other functions to achieve overall business objectives for a project, including commercial success, profitability, timeliness and quality.
  • Executes projects in compliance with defined processes and procedures related to new product development.
  • Provides innovative solutions to accelerate project execution and meet business deliverables.
  • Builds strong cross-functional teams and provides clear, concise communication across teams.
  • Responsible for communicating business-related issues, risks and/or opportunities to the next management level.
  • Develops launch readiness plans in collaboration with Planning teams to support manufacturing scale-up for global launches and long-term supply strategies.
  • Ensures alignment across make-versus-buy decisions, supporting site selection activities in collaboration with Source and Plan functions.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or another related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in New Product Development (NPD) and/or New Product Introduction (NPI) project management.
  • Experience in supply chain and/or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Experience within Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Biologics, or other highly regulated industries is preferred.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams or NPI programs is preferred.
  • Six Sigma, Process Excellence, Lean, PMP, APICS, or equivalent certification is preferred.
About the Future of Our Orthopaedics Business

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes.
