Corintis in Lausanne seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier quality activities across qualification, PCN control, and PPAP submissions. The role spans the full supplier lifecycle, including audits, SCARs, and escalation, to scale a robust supply base.

You will collaborate with Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure products meet stringent quality standards, while driving continuous improvement and adherence to 8D problem-solving and GD&T practices.

Qualifikationen

  • Technology or Engineering degree from a recognized institution.
  • 5+ years in Supplier Quality or QA positions.
  • Experience with external third-party agencies.
  • Knowledge ISO 9001:2015, PDCA, Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC.
  • Exposure to nonconformances, incident handling, 8D problem solving.
  • Knowledge of GD&T, Gauge R&R, calibration to NIST standards.
  • Lead auditor training is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of 5S initiatives.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.

  • Work with Verification and Lab to develop RMA test procedures.

The Role

We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer with experience in both the technical sphere of Quality Engineering as well as the Qualification Evaluation and Performance Management of the Supply Chain, to join our Quality team.


The role will require the development, implementation and maintenance of all major processes associated with supplier quality, including supplier qualification criteria, quality agreements, process and product change notification (PCN) control, and the flow of Corintis Engineering requirements to the supply base.


This is a key moment for the business in that we are currently expanding our portfolio and require someone with the skills and experience necessary to scale a supply base that can meet our quality and volume commitments.


This role sits within the Corintis Quality team and spans the full supplier lifecycle, sourcing and qualification support, production monitoring and change control, supplier development and escalation.


Key Responsibilities


  • Work with the Quality, Supply Chain, Project, Engineering and Manufacturing teams to ensure all product deliverables are maintaining the output standard.

  • Work with the Director of Global Quality to audit, develop and improve upon the organization’s procedures.

  • Lead the nonconformance reporting system from case capture through implementation, mentoring, dispositions, reviews and case closure.

  • Carry out Supplier qualification and evaluation audits and facility or product inspections locally and overseas as necessary.

  • Own the supplier qualification process end to end.

  • Manage First Article Inspection (FAI) and the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)submissions.

  • Own supplier corrective action (SCAR/8D), containment and effectiveness verification.

  • Become the process owner for the Returned Material Authorization (RMA) Process.

  • Understand hardware requirements and design documents.

  • Prepare documentation for procedures, SCAR, 8D, Quality Cases and Inspection Reports.

  • Work with the Verification and Laboratory team to develop RMA test procedures.


Requirements


  • Technology or Engineering Degree from a recognized institution.

  • 5+ years of experience in a Supplier Quality or relevant Quality Assurance position.

  • Demonstrated experience in working with external third-party agencies.

  • Working and demonstrated knowledge ISO 9001:2015, PDCA, Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC and Manufacturing best practices.

  • Current, first-hand exposure to the control of nonconformances, incident handling, Failure Analysis and 8D problem solving.

  • In depth knowledge of measuring, monitoring, metrology equipment GD&T, Gauge R&R and calibration to NIST standards.

  • Internal audit or Lead auditor training is an asset.

  • Excellent communication and collaborative teamwork skills and work habits.

  • Knowledge and awareness of 5S initiatives.

  • Proficiency with MS Office programs and computer skills.

  • A strong team player with a positive can-do attitude accountable to quality standards and timeliness.
