Substitute Custodian – District Wide

Shift Hours: Varies by day and building.

During the summer the hours may be modified to a day shift.

Position Purpose: The Custodian – Evening Shift supports the staff and students of USD 232 by providing a safe, clean, operational, and productive learning environment with a customer service mindset.

Starting Salary: $16.64/hour (commensurate with experience)

Anticipated start date: Rolling start date through the school year.

Requirements:

• All employees must have a current TB test (Tuberculosis). If you’ve had a recent TB Test (less than 12 months ago) we can accept a copy of your test results. If it’s been more than 1 year ago, you will be required to obtain a new test. Employees are responsible for the cost of the test.
• Must pass standardized strength & agility testing requiring lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Must submit a pre‑employment physical prior to first day of work.
