Job summary

The role supports students, staff and visitors, coordinates check-ins, manages reception and mail, and oversees inventory and petty cash under campus procedures.

The position requires hospitality experience, strong English and French, and the ability to work across Glion and Bulle campuses as needed. Starting 16.11.2026, full-time, on-site in Montreux.

Qualifications

• Commercial CFC or hospitality diploma or equivalent experience.
• Experience in hotel reception, guest relations, service or an administrative post.
• Proficient in internet and MS Office tools.
• Strong written and spoken English and French.
• Multicultural environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and professional assistance to students, staff and visitors via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
• Redirect inquiries and guide guests to the appropriate department.
• Handle administrative duties including cash handling and record-keeping.
• Assist with student and visiting lecturer check-ins/outs and prepare documents; IDs and nametags.
• Manage reception, mail sorting and distribution for timely delivery.
• Conduct inventory checks to maintain stock levels.
• Oversee sales of branded merchandise and inventory records.
• Accept and record tuition payments with proper documentation.
• Coordinate storage of students' belongings securely and accessibly.
• Update student information in Academia, Secanda and Mercury systems.
• Prepare access keys and staff badges with accurate tracking.
• Supervise trainees and first-year students during workshops at the Student Concierge.
• Manage weekly/monthly petty cash transactions and ensure accountability.
• Handle lost and found secure storage and return items.
