Santiago Calatrava LLC in Zürich invites experienced Structural Engineers to work on unusual international building and bridge projects from our Head Office.

You will handle structural design across all phases, manage technical projects, and develop concepts in RC, steel and timber, coordinating with disciplines and stakeholders.

Applicants should have degree, 5+ years, chartered status or working toward it, proficiency in English or German, and eligibility for employment in Switzerland.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in structural or civil engineering.
• Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience.
• Chartered or equivalent status (or pursuing).
• Experience with medium/large building, bridge projects from concept to construction.
• Experience coordinating with other consultants.
• Proficient in FEM modelling tools (Sofistik, SAP2000, Cubus).
• Fluent in English and/or German; other languages a plus.
• Organised, independent and team player with strong communication.

Aufgaben

• Structural design across all design phases for buildings and bridges.
• Technical project management and coordination.
• Develop structural concepts for concrete, steel and timber.
• Coordinate construction drawings with disciplines.
• Coordinate with other consultants and stakeholders.
• Prepare structural reports and tender documentation.
• Present planning results to clients.
• Possibly project management and client liaison depending on profile.
