Zusammenfassung

CERN in Geneva, a leading European research center, is seeking a Structural Civil Engineer to design, analyze and supervise civil structures across a project lifecycle. You will ensure safety, compliance and integration within multidisciplinary teams.

You will join the Design Office Section (SCE-TOD-DO) of the Site and Civil Engineering Department and contribute to feasibility studies, assessments and Technical specifications, while supporting construction and maintenance with BIM coordination.

Qualifikationen

• Master's Degree or equivalent in civil engineering.
• Extensive experience in civil engineering design and structural calculations.
• Expertise in reinforced and prestressed concrete and structural steel.
• Familiarity with BIM processes, Revit and AutoCAD.
• Experience with road design, infrastructure design and cost estimation.

Aufgaben

• Perform feasibility, preliminary and detailed design studies for civil structures.
• Review and coordinate design drawings and models; participate in BIM management.
• Assess existing structures and define reinforcement or modification solutions.
• Prepare technical specifications and contribute to calls for tender.
• Support construction phases through site inspections and technical follow-up.
