Zusammenfassung

CERN invites applications for a Construction Project Engineer within the Site and Civil Engineering Department. You will coordinate site activities, interface with stakeholders, and ensure delivery within technical, scheduling, budgetary, and safety objectives.

Responsibilities include supervising works, enforcing safety, participating in testing and handover, and supporting design through procurement phases, while tracking progress and costs with the project manager.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) with 2–6 years of post-graduation experience.
• PhD with no more than 3 years of post-graduation experience.
• National of a CERN Member or Associate Member State.

Aufgaben

• Supervise construction works and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Ensure safety measures on worksites and manage remediation of defects.
• Participate in testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Collaborate with project manager on design, coordination and procurement phases.
• Coordinate on-site interfaces between contractors and CERN services, monitor schedule, budget and quality.
