Qualifikationen

• PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or equivalent.
• 8+ years applying statistics in pharma/biotech research environments.
• Proven track record with advanced statistical methodologies for biological, translational, omics, imaging data.
• Experience with modern statistical programming and reproducible analysis workflows, especially in R.
• Publications, conference presentations or methodological innovations in the field.

Aufgaben

• Provide strategic statistical leadership across discovery, translational, and early research programs.
• Lead complex analyses across preclinical, translational, biomarker, imaging, omics, and human data using Bayesian methods, causal inference, longitudinal modelling, and machine learning.
• Develop innovative statistical methods and reproducible workflows with R-based solutions.
• Support biomarker identification, evaluation, and validation for translational evidence-generation.
• Translate complex data into actionable insights for target evaluation and portfolio decisions.
• Collaborate with Translational Bioinformatics, Global Biometrics, Data Management, PK/PD and other quantitative functions.
• Contribute to scientific publications, ethics submissions, external collaborations, and communications.
• Mentor statisticians and scientists, promoting excellence and continuous learning.
• Champion data-driven decision making and training across the organisation.
• Establish relationships with external collaborators and CROs to ensure high-quality outcomes.
