Job summary

UNICEF's Office of Emergency Programmes (EMOPS) seeks an Engagement Strategy Consultant in Geneva to strengthen humanitarian partnerships. The role focuses on reviewing EMOPS’ engagement with partners, and shaping the strategy of the new People-Centered Humanitarian Partnerships section.

It involves stakeholder consultations, and assessing partnership approaches in reform and localization efforts. The consultant will develop a strategy note, coordinate across UNICEF’s humanitarian partnerships,

Qualifications

• Proven ability to produce high-quality written outputs, including reports and strategic/analytical documents.
• Proven ability to use AI in a sound and transparent manner.
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen UNICEF’s humanitarian partnerships by supporting a review of EMOPS’ partnership engagement.
• Define the strategic direction of the People-Centered Humanitarian Partnerships section.
• Facilitate stakeholder consultations and assess partnership approaches in humanitarian reform.
• Develop a partnership strategy note and identify opportunities to enhance coordination and impact.
