Job summary

EVTEC AG in Kriens is seeking an Operational Buyer (m/f/d) at 60%. You will trigger and monitor orders, track delivery dates and coordinate with production, logistics and suppliers to maintain material availability.

Ideal candidates have commercial or technical training, experience in industrial purchasing, and strong German/English communication. The role offers engaging scope, flexible hours and at least 25 vacation days per year.

Qualifications

• Commercial or technical basic training; further purchasing training is an advantage.
• Experience in operational purchasing of an industrial company.
• Solid IT skills and ERP software (ABAS is an advantage).
• Structured and independent working style.
• Strong communication & negotiation skills in German and English.
• Networked thinking & flexibility.
• Good planning, organizational & coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Triggering and monitoring orders.
• Tracking and ensuring delivery dates.
• Obtaining and comparing offers.
• Maintaining purchasing and supplier master data.
• Processing order confirmations.
• Coordination with production, logistics, and suppliers.
• Support with complaints and delivery discrepancies.
• Monitoring inventory levels and material availability.
• Participation in cost optimizations.
• Maintaining and ordering materials for Kanban items.
• Ordering components for interfaces.
