Netstal AG in Switzerland seeks an experienced Operational Buyer (m/f/d) 80-100% in Production Mechanical Engineering to ensure timely material supply and smooth order handling. You will work closely with internal teams and suppliers, monitor deliveries, and manage SAP data for accurate planning.

Ideal candidates have EFZ, 2–3 years of procurement experience, SAP MM expertise, and strong MS Office skills. A hybrid work setup with regional presence is offered along with attractive benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Technical or commercial basic training EFZ.
• Operational procurement experience in an industrial environment (2–3 years).
• Solid SAP MM knowledge including planning.
• Proficient use of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• German B2 and English B1 are advantageous.
• Independent, responsible team player with proactive style.

Aufgaben

• Ensure timely material supply for selected material groups in mechanical engineering.
• Monitor and track order confirmations.
• Proactively implement measures when deviations occur with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with strategic purchasing for escalations.
• Remind and enforce due delivery dates.
• Monitor inventory levels for assigned goods groups.
• Maintain order-related data in SAP system.
• Process work inventories and day-to-day workflows.

What you will do with us

• Ensuring timely material supply for selected material groups in the field of mechanical engineering
• Monitoring and tracking of order confirmations
• Early and proactive implementation of measures in case of deviations with internal and external stakeholders
• Close coordination with the responsible strategic purchasing in case of escalations
• Reminder and enforcement of due delivery dates
• Monitoring of inventory levels for the assigned goods groups to ensure optimal management
• Maintenance and updating of order-related data in the SAP system
• Processing and handling of work inventories and workflows in day-to-day business

What you bring

• Technical or commercial basic training EFZ
• Technical understanding is an advantage (e.g., reading construction drawings)
• 2-3 years of experience in operational procurement in an industrial environment
• Solid user knowledge in the SAP MM module including planning
• Proficient use of common MS tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
• Conceptual competence, solution-oriented as well as planning and organizational skills
• Team-oriented personality with a proactive working style
• Very good German language skills (level B2) and English language skills (level B1) are an advantage
• Independent, responsible team player
