• Energy Strategy and Project Enablement: You drive the profitability of Climeworks’ Direct Air Capture and Storage projects by identifying location‑specific, low‑cost, low‑carbon energy supply solutions tailored to each project’s needs.

• Site Identification and Evaluation: You find and evaluate brownfield site opportunities for Climeworks’ DAC with excess steam availability, access to low‑carbon electricity via regional grids or local solutions, and proximity to CO₂ transport and storage infrastructure.

• Energy Cost Forecasting: You provide risk‑aware energy price estimates and forecasts—including power, heat, and fuel—for Climeworks projects across global markets.

• Technical Project Support: You support and guide project managers on energy topics to ensure informed decision‑making throughout project development.

• Carbon Accounting: You are familiar with carbon accounting for energy and apply your knowledge to optimize the carbon intensity of energy solutions for DAC applications.
