The role demands strong procurement expertise, technical understanding of automation technologies, and the ability to engage with engineering, IT/OT, QA, and project teams to deliver value beyond price negotiations.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years in strategic procurement, category management, or technical sourcing.
• Experience in complex multinational environments and with technical suppliers.

Aufgaben

• Lead Automation Procurement category strategy aligned with business and manufacturing objectives.
• Analyze spend and supplier markets to identify sourcing opportunities and cost optimization.
• Establish sourcing strategies, framework agreements, and supplier programs.
• Drive supplier consolidation and standardization where appropriate.
• Negotiate complex commercial agreements including software licensing and maintenance.
• Manage lifecycle and obsolescence mitigation for automation assets.
• Partner with Engineering and Automation teams through design to handover on projects.
