Johnson & Johnson MedTech is recruiting a Staff Manufacturing Engineer for an on-site role in a cross-functional team across DePuy Synthes TechOps. You will design, validate and start up world-class manufacturing and assembly operations, ensuring product quality, cost and performance objectives.

You will work with R&D, Quality, Marketing, Finance and suppliers to optimize designs for manufacturability, develop prototypes, and support product launches with robust validation plans.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in a maintenance manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience in Project Management preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience in medical device industry or pharmaceutical preferred.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and external manufacturers to develop new product designs.
• Assess manufacturability and contribute to design reviews for tolerance and DFMEA.
• Lead prototype manufacturing and cost estimates for components and assemblies.
• Provide technical support to suppliers and external manufacturers in process development.
• Support ERP and Quality System deliverables and documentation.
• Mentor entry level engineers and guide supplier optimization for production.
