Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics/Data Science/Math/Physics/Economics/Operations Research/Engineering)
• 8 years of analytics experience with coding (Python/R/SQL) or 6 years with a PhD
• Experience leading teams of data scientists or quantitative researchers
• Experience applying experiment design, regression analysis, and core statistics to drive business decisions

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a high-performing subteam of data scientists in Search Ads Targeting.
• Collaborate with engineering and product partners to translate questions into experiments and models.
• Architect end-to-end analysis pipelines translating business questions into rigorous statistical frameworks.
• Design and evaluate complex experiments or models (e.g., causal inference, hierarchical models).
• Translate telemetry into evidence ensuring data integrity for research-grade analyses.
