The Senior HR Business Partner acts as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, balancing operational HR responsibilities with strategic business partnership. In this role, you will help shape the employee experience, strengthen organisational effectiveness and support business performance through trusted HR advice, proactive people solutions and close collaboration with our HR Centres of Expertise. - Partner with managers to understand business needs and provide strategic HR insights that support workforce planning, organisational effectiveness and team performance.
- Act as a trusted advisor on complex people matters, providing expert guidance on HR policies, Swiss employment legislation and employee relations.
- Support People & Culture Managers in shaping and implementing HR strategies, frameworks and programmes that strengthen organisational capability and company culture.
- Lead and continuously improve HR processes across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding and development to performance management and offboarding.
- Coach leaders on effective performance management, including feedback practices, goal setting and performance improvement processes.
- Manage and resolve employee relations matters, ensuring fair, compliant and well-documented processes.
- Drive People & Culture initiatives in areas such as employee engagement, wellbeing, leadership development, diversity and inclusion.
- Design and deliver training sessions and workshops that strengthen leadership and employee capabilities.
- Use people data and analytics to identify trends, generate actionable insights, prepare reports and support informed decision-making.
- Support change management initiatives by contributing to the communication, implementation and adoption of People & Culture programmes.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across the HR team, HR Centres of Expertise and business functions to deliver effective and consistent people solutions.
- You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organisational Psychology or a related field.
- You bring several years of progressively responsible HR experience, including substantial experience in an HR advisory or HR business partnering role.
- You have solid knowledge of Swiss employment legislation and HR best practices.
- You have experience managing complex employee relations matters and navigating sensitive situations with confidence and discretion.
- You have a strong understanding of HR processes, performance management and organisational development.
- You are an effective stakeholder manager who can influence, build trust and collaborate with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
- You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to operational execution.
- You have excellent communication, facilitation and coaching skills.
- You can analyse people data, identify relevant trends and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- You demonstrate a high level of integrity, discretion and professionalism.
- You bring a proactive mindset and a strong focus on continuous improvement.
- You work effectively and collaboratively within the HR team and across business functions.
- You MUST be mother tongue level in German both written and spoken. Additionally you are fluent in English, French and/or Italian would be an advantage.
