Job summary

Duluth Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Program Paraprofessional to assist instructional staff and specialists in developing educational, physical, safety, and life skills for special needs students. The position operates Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 2:15 pm.

Starting wage ranges from $20.05 to $22.49 per hour with benefits; district offers a comprehensive benefits package and retirement options. The para may be assigned within the program as needed by the principal/director.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a teacher's assistant in or outside a school system.
• 60 semester credits or 90 quarter credits or ParaPro assessment.
