Zusammenfassung

Beyond Gravity in Zurich is seeking a System Engineer Mechatronics to own a mechatronic spacecraft subsystem from design to qualification. You will join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team delivering competitive products for European and global missions.

You have a MSc in Mechatronics/Mechanical/Aerospace and 3+ years in demanding aerospace environments. You’ll lead technical activities, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure execution within cost and schedule constraints.

Qualifikationen

• MSc or equivalent in Mechatronics/Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in mechatronics for aerospace, vacuum, scientific instruments, MedTech.
• Generalist able to work with equations and people.
• Hands-on mindset turning designs into hardware; experienced with production and test challenges.
• Operational drive with focus on cost, schedule, quality, and regulated processes.

Aufgaben

• Be the technical responsible for a mechatronic spacecraft system.
• Lead a project team across analysis/testing/electrical/design/materials.
• Collaborate with project team to assess customer needs, generate ideas, optimize solutions, and deliver value.
• Prepare component specifications and coordinate with suppliers.
• Coordinate design/analysis activity and perform engineering work.
• Support production and test activities and evaluate test results.
• Establish and review complex technical documentation and data packs.
• Support and negotiate with customers in technical meetings and reviews.
