Zusammenfassung

Evooq, headquartered in Lausanne, is expanding its Quant Engine team to build scalable, production-grade software for wealth management. You will own features from design to production, collaborating with quants, backend engineers, and product stakeholders in a fast-paced, agile environment.

We look for engineers with strong fundamentals, Go or equivalent language, distributed systems in the cloud (AWS), and a pragmatic mindset. English required; French is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and production-grade mindset.
• Experience developing production software in Go, or strong experience in another language with Go readiness.
• Experience building distributed systems and microservices in cloud environments (AWS).
• Solid practices: Git, code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, observability.
• Experience with Docker, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, AWS, GitHub Actions, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and gRPC.
• Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools while maintaining high code quality.
• Strong ownership mindset to take features from design to production and support.
• Proficiency in English; French is an advantage.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Lausanne.
• Swiss or European citizenship or valid Swiss work permit.

• Design and deliver maintainable, reliable, and well-tested solutions.
• Own and evolve defined areas of the codebase with autonomy.
• Collaborate with quants, backend engineers, and product stakeholders.

• Prefer code and demos over lengthy discussions with a pragmatic approach.
• Use AI tools thoughtfully, applying engineering judgment where needed.
