Evooq, a Swiss-based fintech technology provider, is expanding its Quant Engine team in Lausanne. We seek an engineer who blends solid software discipline with strong communication to own features end-to-end and build reliable, scalable systems that support investment decisions.

Join agile, cross-functional teams of quants, backend engineers, and product stakeholders. We value pragmatic problem solvers and thoughtful use of AI tooling to maintain high code quality and performance.

Qualifikationen

• Strong software fundamentals with experience building production software.
• Experience developing production software in Go or strong capability to become productive in Go.
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices in cloud environments (AWS).
• Familiar with Git, code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD and observability.
• Proficient in English; French is a plus but not required.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Lausanne.

• Own the product you are building across the full software lifecycle from requirements to deployment and support.
• Design and deliver maintainable, reliable, and well-tested solutions.
• Own and evolve well-defined areas of the codebase with autonomy.
• Collaborate closely with quants, backend engineers, product stakeholders, and other teams.

• Apply AI-assisted tools thoughtfully while maintaining sound engineering judgment.
