Georg Fischer Ltd. is seeking an experienced Software Engineer Embedded Systems & Technical Lead to shape the technical direction of our Jointing Solutions portfolio (Infrared Fusion Machines).

You will split your time between hands-on development and guiding external partners to deliver high-quality, future-ready software. You will design and maintain embedded and machine software, define interfaces, manage CI/CD pipelines, and oversee testing and validation.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 6+ years of professional software development experience, including embedded systems or machine software environments.
• Strong hands-on programming in C/C++ and experience with Java or C#/.NET.
• Experience managing external development partners, suppliers, or distributed engineering teams with technical ownership.
• Knowledge of Requirements Engineering and Systems Engineering with hardware-software integration.
• Curiosity to expand into automation, web technologies, HMI, and modern software practices.
• Important: A valid work permit—or EU citizenship—is essential.
