Job summary

MPower Plus in Zürich seeks an experienced Azure DevOps expert to design and deploy scalable enterprise-grade applications in a complex hybrid cloud. You will own infrastructure across Unix/Linux, AKS, Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines, with a strong focus on security and reliability.

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject with hands-on DevOps experience.
• Proven hands-on software development and architecture experience.
• Proven working experience in an agile environment.
• Understanding of DevOps tools and engineering practices.
• Hands-on experience deploying large-scale cloud applications.
• Experience with test-driven development and test automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and operate scalable Azure-based deployments in a hybrid cloud.
• Manage AKS clusters, networking, storage and HA configurations.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Terraform, Ansible, Helm.
• Implement strong security: Azure AD, Vault, encryption, and key management.
• Monitor and optimize performance with Prometheus, Grafana and logging with Splunk.

Job description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Azure Devops expert with knowledge of the financial services industry and experience in deploying scalable enterprise-grade applications in a complex hybrid cloud environment.

You will have:

• A Broad range of Infrastructure knowledge and experience in Unix, Linux, Shell scripting, Database, networking, virtual machines, storage and middle tier deployments with experience in a large-scale global organization on a cloud environment
• Deep knowledge and experience in Azure Kubernetes AKS, network setup, containerization, cluster setup and high availability configurations.
• Akka cluster knowledge setup and configuration
• Site reliability engineering knowledge experience on Azure.
• Experience in deploying applications on Azure via GitLab, Terraform, ansible, helm, tiller, infrastructure as code in a ci/cd Devops environment.
• Knowledge and experience in Azure services such as Event Hub, Service Bus, Log Analytics, Azure Application Gateway and Azure storage services.
• Database Cosmosdb, Postgres, Azure SQLknowledge and hands on skills in terms of deployment, maintenance and performance tuning preferably in a cloud environment.
• Messaging, streaming, Logging and Middleware knowledge active MQ, Kafka, Splunk, Prometheus and Grafana, LGTM
• Deep understanding and experience in application security setup such as Azure Active Directory, Hashicorp Vault with experience in certificate management, encryption and keystore management.
