Job summary

BLP Digital AG in Zurich is seeking a software engineer to help build autonomous document processing platforms. You’ll own features from idea to shipped code, collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve real business problems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a software engineering role.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, Clean Code and Clean Architecture.
• Ability to translate business problems into precise requirements, specifications and code.
• Entrepreneurial mindset: align daily work with team and company goals, balance cost and benefit.

About the role

What you'll do

• Drive Impact: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into possible improvements to our product.

• Build Great Software: Design and develop clean, maintainable, and high-quality software, applying a wide range of principles including functional patterns. Conduct code reviews and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.

• Lead and Influence: Guide technical direction for major initiatives, shape how the product evolves and mentor team members along the way.

• Promote Innovation and Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, share what you learn openly, and continuously improve processes, tools, and team practices.

• The Tech Stack for this role includes Golang, MySQL, Docker images deployed on a Kubernetes cluster in our cloud infrastructure (GCS, AWS or Azure) and Github CI/CD.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

• 3+ years of experience in a software engineering role.
