Job summary

SR Technics Holding in Zurich is seeking a dedicated Shopfloor Support (Waterspider) to maintain high operational standards across the LEAP/GTF Engine Shop. You will assist supervisors and technicians, coordinate parts, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires a technical or logistics background, a Swiss forklift license, driving licence, and willingness to work in shifts. German (B1) and English (B2) skills are expected, and you will join a global, safety-focused

Qualifications

Completed technical or logistics apprenticeship (or equivalent professional experience).
Valid Category B driving license and Swiss forklift license.
Accurate, reliable, and self-organised with a hands-on approach.
Willingness to work in shifts.
German (B1) and English (B2) language skills.
Proactive team player with continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

Support the daily operation of the LEAP/GTF Engine Shop by preparing materials and coordinating parts and assemblies according to production priorities.
Ensure timely and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing goods and documentation.
Assist the Supervisor with operational coordination and interface between production, logistics, and tool store.
Maintain a clean, well-organized work environment by applying 5S principles across all work areas.
Promote and ensure compliance with Safety, Quality, and Compliance standards and company regulations.
Identify opportunities to optimize shop processes, improving efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
Actively contribute to Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives within the production area.
