• Strong research background in signal processing or communications.
• Experience with system-level modelling of digital communication systems.
• Ability to develop and evaluate new architectures for high-speed systems.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python or C++ for modelling and testing.

Aufgaben

• Research and develop new concepts for high-speed serial communication systems.
• Build system level models to investigate, compare and optimise architectures.
• Develop signal processing algorithms and test their impact on link performance.
• Use MATLAB, Python or C++ to model systems and evaluate ideas.
• Collaborate with architects and IC designers to translate concepts into transceiver architectures.
• Analyse system limitations including signal integrity, noise, power and clock recovery.
• Define link budgets and block-level specifications from requirements.
• Support analogue, digital and verification teams throughout development.
