Job summary

Sensirion AG is seeking a talented IC design engineer to drive sensor ICs from concept to industrialization. You will work with a multidisciplinary team across electronics, physics, chemistry and MEMS to push sensor performance and enable new concepts.

You bring an MSc/PhD in electrical engineering, hands-on Cadence Virtuoso/Spectre and CMOS layout experience, and a strong analytical mindset. English is essential, German is a plus; strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• MSc/PhD in electrical engineering or a similar field with first professional IC design experience preferred.
• Hands-on Cadence Virtuoso/Spectre, CMOS layout and silicon lab testing experience.
• Structured, analytical problem solving with persistence and curiosity for sensors.
• Fluent English; German is a plus and strong communication/coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Own sensor IC design from concept through industrialization.
• Tackle design challenges that push sensors to the limit or enable new concepts.
• Collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team of electronics, physics, chemistry and MEMS.
