Job summary

Cytiva, a Danaher operating company, is seeking an experienced Application V&V Engineer to verify and validate complex medical device software and hardware interfaces in a cross-functional R&D setting. Based in Signy, Switzerland, the role is on-site and focuses on Cellular Therapy products within the R&D organization.

You will define V&V strategies, lead test activities, manage risk, and collaborate with engineering, quality, and product teams to ensure regulatory compliance and product

Qualifications

• Requires a Master’s degree in a related field and 10+ years in new product development, product care, project management, and manufacturing science & technology.
• Proven expertise in defining, planning, and executing Verification & Validation strategies and activities.
• Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and regulatory requirements (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, cGMP).

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver System and Application Verification & Validation activities, including defining scope, strategies, plans, methods, procedures, test execution, traceability, risk management, and reporting.
• Collaborate with System Engineering, Biology, Application, Software, Quality, Product Management, and Project Management teams to ensure integrated system performance.
• Provide SME guidance on V&V methodologies, risk-based approaches, and regulatory-compliant practices.
• Mentor Application V&V engineers and promote best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement of System V&V processes, tools, and ways of working.
