Zusammenfassung

Swisslinx Zürich is seeking an experienced Requirements Engineer to analyse and specify complex trading functionality across the full trading lifecycle, including order handling, execution workflows and market models.

You will translate business and instrument requirements into clear specifications, assess impact across systems, and collaborate with business users, product managers, architects, developers and testers in an Agile environment.

Qualifikationen

• At least 8 years of experience in requirements engineering within exchange trading or financial services.
• Strong expertise in exchange-traded instruments, particularly fixed income and structured products.
• Knowledge of equities and ETFs is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of trading platforms and matching engines, including order handling, execution workflows, market models and trading lifecycle processes.
• Demonstrated experience analysing and specifying complex trading functionality across interconnected systems.
• Strong track record of producing high-quality business requirements, functional specifications and interface specifications.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technology teams.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Fluent English.

• Assess the business, operational and technical impact of changes across multiple systems.
• Work closely with business users, product managers, architects, developers and testing teams to turn requirements into deliverable solutions.
• Support feature refinement, implementation planning and delivery within an Agile environment.
• Contribute to topics spanning trading, market data and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure requirements and specifications are detailed, consistent and ready for implementation.
