myitjob GmbH in Bern is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to design, develop and maintain automated tests using Java, Cucumber and Selenium in a hybrid Bern setting. You will build robust automation frameworks and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins.

The role requires senior automation testing experience, strong collaboration across teams, and fluent German at C1 level. A self-organised, autonomous work style is expected along with excellent communication.

Qualifikationen

• Senior or professional profile with the ability to onboard quickly
• German at C1 level written and spoken
• Strong experience in automation testing, design, execution, analysis and reporting

Aufgaben

• Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Cucumber
• Build and maintain web automation frameworks with Selenium and SoapUI
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins
• Analyse test results and collaborate with development teams
• Define and document test automation strategies, test plans and reports
• Support defect tracking with Jira and HP ALM/QC
