Actalent in Switzerland is seeking a Software Engineer in Test to drive quality at the intersection of hardware, software and biological assays. You will architect end-to-end automated test strategies for our molecular diagnostic platforms, integrating test frameworks and robotics to validate interfaces and ensure data integrity.

The ideal candidate has a degree in CS/EE/Medical Technology, at least five years in SET or test automation, and strong coding principles.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in CS/EE/Medical Technology or equivalent.
• Min. 5 years as SET or Test Automation Engineer in complex mechatronic or biotech environments.
• Strong software development skills and clean coding principles.
• Experience with modern test automation frameworks and BDD.

Aufgaben

• Quality Assurance for High-Tech: Automated test strategies for complex diagnostic systems.
• BDD Methodology: Apply Behavior-Driven Development to translate requirements into specs.
• AI-Driven Test Development: Use AI agents/tools to design and maintain scalable test cases across software, hardware, and assays.
• Development of Test Environments: Build/test frameworks with Selenium, Appium, SpecFlow and library support for robots.
• Robotics Integration: Evaluate and integrate robot arms and internal tools to simulate device interactions.
• ALM & Traceability: Use Codebeamer to manage requirements and tests and ensure traceability.
• CI/CD Integration: Automate QA in GitHub and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• End-to-End Verification: Ensure data integrity from barcode to PCR result analysis.
• Compliance & Documentation: Support test plans, protocols and ISO 13485 documentation.
