Itech Consult AG is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer in Test to shape automated testing for next-generation molecular diagnostics platforms. You will design end-to-end automated test strategies across software, hardware, and assay workflows, integrating robotics, AI-assisted tooling, and ALM traceability.

The role requires 5+ years in test automation within mechatronic or biotech environments, strong coding practice, and ISTQB knowledge. Immediate start, permanent position, 100% workload.

Qualifikationen

• Must have degree in CS/EE/medical tech or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years as Software Engineer in Test or Test Automation Engineer.
• Experience with modern test automation frameworks and BDD.
• Experience using AI coding assistants/LLMs to manage testing assets.
• Experience with ALM tools, preferably Codebeamer.
• Strong analytical skills for complex diagnostics.

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement automated test strategies for complex molecular diagnostics systems.
• Apply Behavior-Driven Development to translate requirements into specs.
• Use AI tools to design, write, and maintain scalable test cases across software, hardware, and workflows.
• Build and maintain test environments with Selenium, Appium, or SpecFlow.
• Evaluate and integrate robotics tools to simulate user interactions on devices.
• Ensure traceability with ALM tools and CI/CD in GitHub and Azure DevOps.
• Verify data integrity from barcode to PCR result; support ISO 13485 compliance.
