Job summary

Capco is hiring a Temenos Configuration Specialist - Payments in Zürich to deliver a complex core banking and payments transformation for a leading Swiss financial institution. You will translate business requirements into robust Temenos configurations, support end-to-end payment flows, and drive testing and release activities.

The role requires deep Temenos knowledge, ISO 20022 and SEPA familiarity, and strong collaboration with architects, integration teams, and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in banking technology, core banking, or payments transformation with hands-on configuration responsibilities.
• At least 4 years practical Temenos experience, ideally Temenos Transact and Temenos Payments/Payments Hub, in multiple programmes.
• Strong functional knowledge of payment processing across full lifecycle.
• Proven ability to configure Temenos payment products, parameters, workflows, and settlement rules.
• Solid understanding of ISO 20022, SEPA, SWIFT/CBPR+ and instant payments.

Responsibilities

• Configure payment products, processing rules, workflows, routing, fees, cut-off times, and settlement parameters within Temenos solutions.
• Translate requirements into functional designs, specs, and implementation-ready configurations.
• Support end-to-end payment flows, including cross-border and high-value scenarios.
• Define test scenarios and contribute to system integration, UAT, and regression testing.
• Coordinate configuration governance and ensure consistency across environments.
