Galenica AG in Bern seeks a hands-on Technical SEO engineer to ensure our webshops and content are reliably crawled and indexed. You will implement structured data, optimize metadata, and work with Product and Engineering teams to push production-ready improvements.

You should have deep experience with crawling, indexation, rendering, and modern JavaScript sites, plus familiarity with JSON-LD, Google Search Console, and Git workflows. Fluency in English is required; German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Proven track record in technical SEO across multi-site platforms.
• Deep knowledge of crawling, rendering, and indexation.
• Strong HTML/CSS/JavaScript skills with scripting ability.
• Experience with JSON-LD, structured data, and schema.org.
• Familiarity with Git, APIs, and modern development workflows.
• Fluency in English; German is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Ensure our webshops and pages are crawlable and discoverable by search engines and AI systems.
• Fix technical issues and implement improvements with Product and Engineering teams.
• Implement and optimize structured data, metadata, sitemaps, redirects and indexation.
• Build automated checks and lightweight tools to improve quality and scalability.
• Collaborate with Digital-as-a-Service and Journey Product Teams from design to release.
• Explore AI Search with experiments using LLM APIs and RAG/MCP approaches.
