Zusammenfassung

Menhir Photonics seeks a procurement leader to build and run a high‑performing procurement function in our Stettbach head office near Zurich. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure material availability for production while driving cost improvements.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in procurement, strong English and German, and a background in electronics, mechanics, or optics. On-site role with up to 20% travel; attractive benefits and modern offices included.

Qualifikationen

• Technical background in electronics, mechanics, or optics.
• 5+ years of working experience in procurement or related field.
• Strong negotiation skills with basic financial knowledge.
• Understanding of quality topics (inspections, deviations, corrective actions).
• ERP and data management proficiency; ideally Odoo.
• Supplier relationship management and contract knowledge.

Aufgaben

• Manage item and warehouse master data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with ERP standards.
• Negotiate supplier contracts and monitor supplier performance to secure cost, quality, and delivery targets.
• Optimize inventory levels by balancing production requirements, lead times, and cost efficiency while minimizing excess and obsolescence.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and supply chain processes (e.g., Lean practices, ERP enhancements, workflow standardization).
• Ensure incoming quality control (IQC) activities are executed by category supply managers and collaborate with quality to strengthen inspection standards.
• Manage low-tech deviations and supplier issues by identifying discrepancies and coordinating corrective actions to prevent disruptions.
• Support production teams in work preparation, ensuring timely material availability and seamless coordination between procurement and operations.
