Adfinis is expanding its Cloud Native stream in Bern, with a team of 25 professionals guiding clients through cloud-native journeys using open standards and trusted tool stacks. The Senior System Engineer will lead client projects, serve as a key technical contact for SLAs, and shape resilient IT infrastructures.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in cloud system engineering, strong DevOps skills, and solid networking, security, and automation capabilities. Flexible work options are available.

Qualifikationen

• Five to eight years of experience as a system engineer in cloud environments.
• Strong DevOps background with CNCF and HashiCorp stacks, GitLab, Kubernetes, OpenShift and Helm.
• Broad experience in software development, cloud migration, and platform engineering.
• Strong networking skills and the ability to translate complex concepts into smart network designs.
• Identify security vulnerabilities early and address them effectively.
• Improve automations and build new ones to enhance operations.
• Aim to align technology, architecture, and business requirements in complex environments.

Aufgaben

• Act as the technical lead on complex projects and ensure quality standards.
• Lead technical discussions with demanding stakeholders and define clear next steps.
• Anticipate delivery risks and address them early with structured communication.
• Manage complex systems, apply updates, and resolve incidents to stay on track.
• Plan and implement sophisticated multi-cloud or on-prem platforms.
• Provide comprehensive support and assist junior and professional teammates in critical moments.
