Job summary

Novo Cristal SA in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, seeks a hands-on Supply Chain Manager to coordinate procurement, production planning, and delivery of finished sapphire products. You will lead a small team, optimize stocks, and work closely with commercial and operational units to meet customer commitments.

The role requires 5+ years in a similar industrial setting, strong planning and procurement skills, and proficiency with ERP systems (ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365) and Excel.

Qualifications

• Higher education in Supply Chain, logistics, industrial engineering, or production management.
• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role in a demanding industrial environment.
• Strong command of planning, procurement, and production flow management.
• Good knowledge of ERP tools (Microsoft Dynamics 365) and Excel.
• Natural leadership, analytical mindset, and ability to unite a team around common goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage production planning and scheduling, anticipating needs, capacities, and priorities.
• Coordinate flows with commercial and operational teams to meet customer commitments.
• Optimise stocks and procurement, supervising logistics from receipt to dispatch.
• Manage supplier relations and subcontracting, ensuring reliability of supplies and cost control.
• Lead and support your team, fostering collaboration and skills development.
• Monitor KPIs and implement continuous improvement actions to optimise processes.
