Capgemini Engineering in Luzern, Switzerland is seeking an experienced structural engineer for aerospace projects. You will perform stress analysis, sizing and substantiation for primary and secondary aircraft structures, using classical hand calculations and FE methods to ensure compliance and safety.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, with at least five years of hands-on aerospace experience, fluent in English and prepared to work mostly on-site

• Prepare, check and approve structural dispositions for deviations and non-conformities
• Create engineering memos, calculation reports and certification documentation
• Support drawing changes, corrective actions and structural improvements
• Contribute to structural test planning and cross‑functional technical discussions

Your profile

• Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable discipline
• Minimum five years of hands‑on structural engineering experience in the aerospace sector
• Strong knowledge of classical stress analysis, sizing and hand‑calculation methods
• Experience with NASTRAN, FEMAP or comparable finite element tools
• Experience with aircraft primary or secondary structures; composite knowledge is an advantage
• Fluency in English and willingness to work mostly on‑site in the Lucerne area
