You will perform stress analysis, sizing and substantiation for primary and secondary aircraft structures, using classical hand calculations and FE methods to ensure compliance and safety.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, with at least five years of hands-on aerospace experience, fluent in English and prepared to work mostly on-site

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum five years of hands-on structural engineering experience in the aerospace sector.
• Fluency in English; willingness to work on-site in the Lucerne area.
• Experience with NASTRAN and FEMAP or similar FE tools.

Aufgaben

• Perform stress analysis, sizing and structural substantiation for aircraft structures.
• Apply classical hand calculations and finite element methods.
• Prepare, check and approve structural dispositions for deviations.
• Create engineering memos, calculation reports and certification documentation.
• Support drawing changes, corrective actions and structural improvements.
• Contribute to structural test planning and cross-functional discussions.
